BBC facilities services

Since 2025 React Cooling have been providing the Birmingham BBC studios with a range of facilities services including HVAC services – HVAC PPM’s, HVAC repairs, HVAC reactive call outs and annual servicing, additionally the team services the boilers and space heaters onsite. Facilities management services have included PAT testing, emergency light testing, fire alarm servicing, water temperature testing and descaling, legionella sampling and testing, servicing automatic doors, roller shutters and barriers servicing. Man safe system servicing and testing and health and safety auditing reports. The huge range of services was carried out by both the HVAC and FM specialists in the React Cooling team giving th BBC an end to end service delivery for their site.

The team have been brilliant in overcoming difficulties around sound management while working in a live studio and filming environment and supporting the site management to ensure everything is delivered despite these difficulties.
